Quarter-Finals Round 1: Gravelines - Nanterre 95-101 OT

Nanterre forced overtime and eventually came out winners against Gravelines on the road. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-17. But Gravelines-Dunkerque won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Gravelines-Dunkerque used huge pressure winning it 17-14 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 18-24. JSF Nanterre forced 19 Gravelines-Dunkerque turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Chris Warren (178-88, college: Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Colombian power forward Juan Palacios (204-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four JSF Nanterre players scored in double figures. American point guard Dwight Buycks (190-89, college: Marquette) answered with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American-FYR Macedonian swingman Kennedy Winston (198-84, college: Alabama) added 18 points and 4 steals in the effort for Gravelines-Dunkerque. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
