Quarter-Finals Round 2: Maccabi Rishon - Hapoel Eilat 63-91
Date: May 13, 2013
The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Eilat. Maccabi Rishon was better in second period 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Eilat shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. American power forward Eli Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Larry O'Bannon (194-83, college: Louisville, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 22 points. Five Hapoel Eilat players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by Shawn Dawson (194-93) did not help to save the game for Maccabi Rishon. Jamaican-American power forward Adrian Uter (200-84, college: Hofstra) added 14 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
