Quarter-Finals Round 2: Antibes - Boulogne 94-73

Antibes cruised past Boulogne at home court to secure the first win in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Olympique Antibes. SO Maritime Boulogne managed to win third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded SO Maritime Boulogne 38-22 including a 24-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. The other American import swingman Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: Elizabeth City) chipped in 24 points. Center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (206-94, agency: Fusion Sports) produced 19 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Guinean-Ivorian swingman Mamadi Diane (196-86, college: Virginia, agency: Fusion Sports) added 16 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
