Finals Game 1: Olimpi - MIA Academy 71-79

Date: May 20, 2013
The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Olimpi won fourth quarter 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MIA looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Kirk Archibeque (205-84, college: Fort Lewis) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Mikheil Berishvili (205-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points, 13 rebounds and 7 blocks in the effort for Olimpi. Five Olimpi players scored in double figures. Olimpi's coach George Kazanjian rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
