The game was mostly controlled by Armia. Kutaisi managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Lasha Parghalava (191-87, college: Montana St. - Billin) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. International Besik Lezhava (192-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International center Richard Matiashvili (207-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and guard Buba Kvimsadze (195-82) added 15 points in the effort for Kutaisi.
