Chieti was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Mirandola dominated on the defensive end, holding Chieti to just 3 points in fourth quarter. They also forced 19 Chieti turnovers. Chieti was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) scored 24 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Luca Pignatti (195-86) chipped in 16 points during the contest. The former international center Emanuele Rossi (208-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and naturalized San Marino Andrea Raschi (198-79) scored 13 points.
