Real Madrid eased past Blusens Monbus for the second win in a row and became the first ACB semifinalists. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid. Blusens Monbus was better in second period 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Blusens Monbus 33-20 including 20 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American-Azerbaijani guard Jaycee Carroll (188-83, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 25 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). International Sergio Llull (192-87) chipped in 16 points. Forward Alberto Corbacho (201-84) produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Robbie Hummel (203-89, college: Purdue, agency: Priority Sports) added 10 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
