The game was mostly controlled by Chieti. Mirandola was better in third quarter 22-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Chieti forced 21 Mirandola turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Emanuele Rossi (208-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Manuel Diomede (188-90, agency: Two Points) who added 19 points during the contest. Four Chieti players scored in double figures. Chieti's coach Domenico Sorgentone felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international swingman Andrea Pilotti (196-80, agency: Players Group) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds.
