Oostende overcame Aalstar on the road to clinch the third straight win in the series. Oostende thus qualified into the championship series. They will take on Mons-Hainaut for the title now. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 45-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Croatian-German swingman Mario Stojic (198-80, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points. Base Oostende's coach Dario Gjergja used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
