Stelmet Zielona Gora are now step away from PLK title. They handed PGE Turow the third straight loss in the title series and would be looking to close out the series on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 31-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Stelmet ZG forced 20 PGE Turow turnovers. It was a good game for U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). American-Georgian swingman Quinton Hosley (201-84, college: Fresno St.) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American-Guinean point guard Russell Robinson (185-86) answered with 16 points and 7 assists and Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Opacak (201-80, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) added 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for PGE Turow. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
