Pistoia outgunned Novipiu Casale to claim 3-1 win in the semifinal series. The game without a history. Tuscany Pistoia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tuscany Pistoia outrebounded Novipiu Casale 39-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Fiorello Toppo (198-80) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Two Points) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Tuscany Pistoia players scored in double figures. American point guard Casper Ware (177-90, college: Long Beach St.) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Rodney Green (195-88, college: La Salle) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Novipiu Casale.
