Semi-Finals Game 3: AGOR - Olympiacos 67-80

The game was mostly controlled by Olympiacos. AGOR was better in third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Olympiacos outrebounded AGOR 38-24 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olympiacos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. It was a quality performance for international guard Vassilis Spanoulis (193-82, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. International forward Kostas Papanikolaou (206-90) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. American forward Brent Petway (204-85, college: Michigan) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian center Damir Latovic (204-80) added 15 points respectively for AGOR in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
