Semi-Finals Game 6: Cantu - Acea Virtus RM 69-74

Acea Virtus Roma clinched a vital road win over Cantu to send the series back to the capital for the decider. Cantu was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 24-18 charge of Lottomatica Roma, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Phil Goss (186-83, college: Drexel) scored 17 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Nigerian power forward Gani Lawal (205-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Lottomatica Roma players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) with 10 points and 5 assists and American-Israeli center Alex Tyus (205-88, college: Florida) scored 12 points. Cantu's coach Andrea Trinchieri rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
