Semi-Finals Game 3: G.Canaria 2014 - FCB Regal 62-84

FCB Regal coasted past Gran Canaria on the road and booked the ticket into the championship series. It looked good early as G.Canaria 2014 took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Regal FC Barcelona had a 22-18 second period charge getting the lead and G.Canaria 2014 was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-84. Regal FC Barcelona shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. It was a good game for naturalized American point guard Brad Oleson (191-83, college: Alaska-Fairb., agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83, agency: Edge Sports) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five Regal FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. Dominican forward Eulis Baez (198-82, college: W.Illinois) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Australian swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: Beo Basket) added 12 points in the effort for G.Canaria 2014. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
