Quarter-Finals Round 2: Tijuana - Nogales 77-86

Nogales snatched the second straight road win over Tijuana. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-19. But Tijuana Zonkeys won second period 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Fuerza Guinda Nogales won last quarter 20-13. American swingman Cheyne Gadson (192-80, college: Oklahoma St.) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Alonso Izaguirre (200-76) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The former international point guard Omar Quintero (183-81, college: S.Nazarene) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and American swingman Marcus Morrison (198-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Fuerza Guinda Nogales and four Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures.
