Finals Game 3: Montepaschi - Acea Virtus RM 89-81

Montepaschi outgunned Virtus Roma in Siena to regain the lead in the championship series. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. It was a good game for the former international point guard Daniel Hackett (200-87, college: USC, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 8 assists. American point guard Bobby Brown (188-84, college: CS Fullerton) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Montepaschi Siena players scored in double figures. Montepaschi Siena's coach Luca Banchi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International forward Luigi Datome (203-87) answered with 25 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and American forward Bobby Jones (201-84, college: Washington) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Lottomatica Roma.
