Brescia overcame Pistoia at home court to force the decisive fifth game in the Finals. C.de Latte BRE made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Tuscany Pistoia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman J.R. Giddens (196-85, college: N.Mexico) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. Argentinian guard Juan Fernandez (193-90, college: Temple) contributed with 14 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Antonio Graves (191-85, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Two Points) replied with 15 points and 4 assists and Panamanian swingman Michael Hicks (194-76, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Tuscany Pistoia. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
