Semi-Finals Game 4: Cananea - Hermosillo 83-88

Date: June 18, 2013
Hermosillo overcame Cananea to take 3-1 lead in the semifinal series. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. The winners were led by American forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) who scored that evening 25 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) supported him with 16 points. Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 32 points and 6 rebounds by naturalized American forward Quentin Gonzalez (200-84, college: McNeese St.) did not help to save the game for Mineros de Cananea. American forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Five Rayos de Hermosillo and four Mineros de Cananea players scored in double figures.
