Semi-Finals Game 4: PUERTO RICO - MEXICO 73-55

Puerto Rico advanced to the Final game of the Centrobasket U17. The hosts of the tournament overcame Mexico73:55 in the Semifinal clash and will take on Dominican Republic tomorrow in the Final. Mexico will play against U.S. Virgin Islands for the third place. Mexico entered the court motivated and created a 7-0 run in the first two minutes of the quarter. Puerto Rico managed to reply with some important baskets for 18:17 at the end of the first period. The hosts managed to win the second period and reached 38:34 at the halftime. In the third quarter the Puerto Ricans took a 15-point lead, thanks to the great performance from the center, Jose Arroyo who scored 8 points in the quarter. Puerto Rico added 16-13 rally at the end of the game for the final result. Arroyo Jose stepped up with 15 points and Gandia Ivan notched 11. Allende Leandro delivered 9, while Ramos Alex had 8. Mendoza Alvaro ended up with 16 points in defeat, whilst Suarez Jeffry scored 10. Olalde Raul produced 9, while Garcia Osmar and Soto Victor shot 7 each.
