El Salvador remain undefeated at home tournament. They posted an 85:57 win over U.S. Virgin Islands for 2-0 record in Group B. The latter meanwhile fell at 0-2 record. El Salvador won the first period 21-17 and also scored 21 points in the second frame. They led 9 points at the halftime and then erupted for the bigger win. The hosts posted an 18-13 rally in the third period and finished the game with a 25-11 run. Martinez Hillary erupted with 35 points for the winners and Iglesias Ana had high 28. Sanchez Nathalie notched 7, whilst Alvarado Liliana notched 6. Frettt Akia answered with 15 points in a loss, whilst Evans Ranai nailed 14. Martinez J'Lene scored 12 and George Sherelle brought 4. Tomorrow El Salvador will take on Mexico for the top place in Group B.
