Regular Season Round 2: Pamukkale - Istanbul DSI 75-69

Very expected game when Istanbul DSI (0-2) was defeated on the road by Pamukkale (2-0) 75-69 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Istanbul DSI trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 12 after three quarters before a 18-12 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 69-75 at the end of the game. Pamukkale made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Bosnian-Israeli center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) chipped in 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. Pamukkale's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: Alti Sport) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Erman Demirer (195-88) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Pamukkale will face Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Istanbul DSI will play at home against Final Genclik (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
