Regular Season Round 3: Antibes - Strasbourg 50-69

Very expected game when Olympique Antibes (0-3) was rolled over at home by Strasbourg IG (3-1) 69-50 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Strasbourg IG. Olympique Antibes was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olympique Antibes to just 7 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international center Alexis Ajinca (215-88, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Jeremy Leloup (200-87) chipped in 12 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Larry O'Bannon (194-83, college: Louisville, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 12 points and the other American import forward Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Strasbourg IG will face Cholet Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olympique Antibes will play against Chorale de Roanne (#12) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
