Date: October 20, 2013
Bnei Hasharon used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Jerusalem 74-63. The game was mostly controlled by Bnei Hasharon. Hapoel Jerusalem was better in fourth quarter 18-7. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bnei Hasharon had a 33-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Point guard Avi Ben-Chimol (194-85, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) notched 21 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and Nigerian-American point guard Michael Umeh (188-84, college: UNLV, agency: Two Points) supported him with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by American Josh Duncan (203-86) did not help to save the game for Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
