Regular Season Day 3: PHILIPPINES - THAILAND 65-59

Philippines became the leader of Level II after the third straight win at the Asian Championship. They overcame Thailand 65:59 and improved to 3-0 record. The hosts of the tournament fell at 2-1 record. Both teams won the first two games of the tournament and looked forward remaining undefeated. Philippines started with a 17-11 rally and had 34:24 advantage at the halftime. They increased to 50:33 lead after thirty minutes and led 17 points with 5 minutes to go. Thailand meanwhile erupted in the last 5 minutes and reduced to final 6 points. Almazan Analyn top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Arayi Merenciana as well as Borja Chovi had 10 each. Grajales Joan followed them with 9 points. Yothanan Penphan ended up with 13 points in the losing effort and Chirdpetcharat Chonticha notched 12. Saechua Wipaporn produced 10, whilst Kunchuan Supavadee had 9.
