Regular Season Round 4: BC Donetsk - Dnipro 105-65

Undefeated leader BC Donetsk delivered the third consecutive win on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked Dnipro (1-2) 105-65. The game without a history. BC Donetsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Dnipro's 38. They outrebounded Dnipro 43-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for BC Donetsk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Dnipro's players. International power forward Maxym Korniyenko (204-87, agency: Beo Basket) fired 28 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. International guard Oleksandr Lypovyy (200-91, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists. International guard Oleksii Shchepkin (191-89) produced 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) added 19 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Donetsk have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record. Dnipro at the other side dropped to the tenth place with two games lost. They share the position with Mykolaiv and Cherkasy. BC Donetsk are looking forward to face Mykolaiv (#12) in Mykolaiv in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Dnipro will play on the road against BC Kyiv and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
