The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked ratiopharm Ulm's (4-3) road victory over 12th ranked BBC Bayreuth (2-5) 88-78 on Saturday. The game without a history. ratiopharm Ulm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American guard Cameron Long (193-88, college: George Mason, agency: KMG Sports Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 4 assists. Dominican point guard Edgar Sosa (190-88, college: Louisville) helped adding 21 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). ratiopharm Ulm's coach Thorsten Leibenath used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Kyle Weems (198-89, college: Missouri St.) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican point guard Kevin Hamilton (193-84, college: Holy Cross) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Four BBC Bayreuth players scored in double figures. ratiopharm Ulm moved-up to sixth place, which they share with NY Phantoms and Ludwigsburg. BBC Bayreuth lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. ratiopharm Ulm will face EnBW Ludwigsburg (#7) at home in the next round. BBC Bayreuth will play against s Oliver Baskets (#17) and hope to win that game.
