Regular Season Round 12: Tochigi Brex - Toyota Alvark 86-85

The most exciting game of round 12 in the NBL took place in Tochigi. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of second-best Toyota Alvark (8-4) to third ranked Tochigi Brex (6-6) 86-85 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 32-24 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Tochigi Brex maintains third position with 6-6 record having four points less than leader Aishin SH. Defending champion Toyota Alvark keeps the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Mitsubishi DD. Tochigi Brex are looking forward to face Chiba Jets (#6) on the road in the next round. Toyota Alvark will play against the league's leader Toshiba Thunders (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
