Ramat Hasharon (1-1) recorded a loss on the court of Elitzur Ramla on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Elitzur Ramla 81-53. The game without a history. Elitzur Ramla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ramat Hasharon's 20 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ramat Hasharon 42-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international Katia Levitsky (190-85, college: Villanova, agency: Data Plus Group) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. American guard Allison Hightower (178-88, college: LSU, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Five Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. International guard Brasheeda Elohim (180-80, college: Fayetteville St.) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and American swingman Megan Frazee (193-87, college: Liberty) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Elitzur Ramla is looking forward to face Elitzur Netanya on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ramat Hasharon will have a break next round.
