Regular Season Round 11: Kyoto Hannar. - Bambitious Nara 75-87

Bambitious Nara can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Kyoto Hannar. (5-4)on the road game in Kyoto 87-75. Bambitious Nara made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Joe Chapman (193-84, college: Marquette, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led the winners and scored 23 points. His fellow American import swingman Jamar Abrams (201-89, college: E.Carolina, agency: KMG Sports Management) accounted for 22 points for the winning side. Four Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican-American swingman Edwin Ubiles (198-86, college: Siena) came up with 31 points and American center Joe Werner (201-84, college: Wisc.-La Crosse) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Kyoto Hannar. in the defeat. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bambitious Nara (1-8) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Shimane SM and Gunma. It was Kyoto Hannar.'s fourth loss in a row. They keep the fifth position with four games lost. Bambitious Nara will have a break next round. Kyoto Hannar. will play again against Bambitious Nara (#9) and hope to win that game.
