Rather expected game in Castellon where 10th ranked Castello (2-3) was defeated by eighth ranked Prat (4-2) 85-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Prat. Castello was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Finnish power forward Joonas Caven (211-93) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and Agustin Sans (195-95) chipped in 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American power forward Olasumbo Atoyebi (203-87, college: Elon) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Jose Maria Garcia (193-87) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Prat have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Fuenlabrada. Castello lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with three games lost. Prat will have a break next round. Castello will play on the road against Fontedoso Carrefour (#9) in Avila and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
