Regular Season Round 11: TiuMenas-Ezer. - Delikatesas 50-76

Another exciting game was played in Moletai between seventh ranked Delikatesas and 4th placed TiuMenas-Ezer. where Delikatesas (6-4) rolled over TiuMenas-Ezer. (7-3) on the road with 26-point difference 76-50. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TiuMenas-Ezer.. The game was mostly controlled by Delikatesas. TiuMenas-Ezer. was better in third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TiuMenas-Ezer. to just 6 points in second quarter. Guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (185-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Rokas Cepanonis (206-89) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) answered with 11 points and point guard Tomas Gaidamavicius (191-82) added 8 points and 6 assists in the effort for TiuMenas-Ezer.TiuMenas-Ezer.'s coach Gwidonas Markevicius gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Delikatesas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Triobet. TiuMenas-Ezer. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Delikatesas will play against league's second-placed JAZZ-KTU in Kaunas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. TiuMenas-Ezer. will play on the road against Radviliskis and hopes to get back on the winning track.
