Round 8 in Ethias League means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Oostende where host Base Oostende (5-2) crushed league's leader Okapi Aalstar (5-3) 99-68 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Okapi Aalstar. The game without a history. Base Oostende led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Base Oostende had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds.
