Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked JSA Bordeaux (6-3) outscored at home 17th ranked Pontoise (1-8) 92-46 on Saturday. The game without a history. JSA Bordeaux led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Pontoise to just 5 points in fourth quarter. JSA Bordeaux made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Pontoise turnovers and had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized Ivorian forward Issife Soumahoro (197-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Matthieu Guichard (188-88) chipped in 19 points. Four JSA Bordeaux players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Swedish center Emir Coco (207-83) with 11 points and 5 rebounds and guard Alexandre Mendy (190-90) scored 3 points and 5 rebounds. Pontoise's coach Ludovic Pouillart already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. JSA Bordeaux maintains fifth place with 6-3 record. Pontoise lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventeenth position with eight games lost. JSA Bordeaux will face Quimper UJAP (#11) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pontoise will play against Cognac BB (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
