Regular Season Round 10: Art.Dragons - Ratiopharm 62-75

An interesting game took place in Quakenbrueck where higher ranked Artland Dragons (7-3) were upseton its own court by ninth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (6-4) 75-62. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when ratiopharm Ulm's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-16 extending their advantage to 13 points. ratiopharm Ulm outrebounded Artland Dragons 43-28 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Cameron Long (193-88, college: George Mason, agency: KMG Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Matt Howard (203-89, college: Butler) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. ratiopharm Ulm's coach Thorsten Leibenath allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. point guard David Holston (168-86, college: Chicago St., agency: Priority Sports) replied with 23 points and 6 assists and swingman Brandon Thomas (198-84, college: Massachusetts, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Artland Dragons. ratiopharm Ulm moved-up to seventh place. Artland Dragons at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. ratiopharm Ulm's next round opponent will be Walter Tigers (#17) in Tuebingen and are hoping to win another game. Artland Dragons will play on the road against New Yorker Phantoms (#10) in Braunschweig and hope to win that game.
