Regular Season Round 28: Miami Heat - Phoenix Suns 107-92
Date: November 25, 2013
Both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade said physically they are finally feeling good. It's hard to argue that after Monday night's performance against the Phoenix Suns. Wade shook off any doubts about his recently ailing knee, and James poured in another high-scoring performance that led Miami to a 107-92 victory over the visiting Suns at AmericanAirlines Arena. Along with James' game-high 35 points, the Heat (11-3) won its seventh consecutive game behind Wade's 21 points and a season-high 12 assists. Wade returned to action this past Saturday against Orlando scoring 27 points after missing two consecutive games with knee soreness. Against the Suns, Wade was sharp from the start, shooting 9-for-13 and also collecting six rebounds as he moved well throughout the game. James also finished with five rebounds and four assists. The Suns (7-7) had won two in a row after losing four straight, and again played without guard Eric Bledsoe (left shin contusion). Phoenix once again appeared to manage without Bledsoe, leading by five early in the game and keeping it close until early in the fourth quarter. Guard Ray Allen finally gave the Heat some separation by hitting back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Heat in front 87-73 with 9:56 left in the fourth. Allen found the mark three times in the fourth quarter after missing his first three attempts from that range in the first half. Allen finished with 17 points off the bench. Former Suns forward Michael Beasley was also effective for the Heat off the bench, finishing with eight points and six rebounds. The Heat bench players combined for 36 points as forward Chris Andersen also had 11. Phoenix had six players finish in double figures, led by forward Channing Frye's 16. The Heat scored higher than the 106.6 points per game it entered the game averaging, which ranked fourth highest in the NBA. Courtesy of: kcci.com
