Regular Season Round 5: Maccabi R.Hen - Elitzur Ramla 54-69

American swingman Karima Christmas (182-89, college: Duke) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Ashley Shields (180-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) added 14 points respectively for Maccabi Ramat Hen in the defeat. Elitzur Ramla have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-0 record. Maccabi Ramat Hen at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Maccabi Ashdod. Elitzur Ramla will play against league's second-placed Elitzur Holon at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Maccabi Ramat Hen will play against Ramat Hasharon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
