Regular Season Round 30: Dallas M. - Golden St.W. 103-99

The Dallas Mavericks snapped their two-game losing streak Wednesday with a 103-99 victory over the Golden State Warriors. The Mavs go into the brief Thanksgivings Holiday break with a 10-6 record, while the Warriors dropped to 9-7. Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 20 points, Jose Calderon tallied 12, Jae Crowder poured in 12 points, Shawn Marion scored 11, DeJuan Blair had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Samuel Dalembert finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Stephen Curry paced the Warriors with 29 points, Klay Thompson scored 20 and grabbed 10 rebounds, and David Lee wound up with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Monta Ellis struggled with just four points on 2-of-16 shooting for the Mavs. But he distributed 10 assists and also came up with the play of the game when he drove the lane and fed Dalembert for a dunk which gave the Mavs a 101-95 lead with 1:21 remaining. Dallas held a 94-77 lead with 7:50 left in the game. But the Warriors keot attacking and crawled within 99-95 with 2:33 left, making it uneasy for the American Airlines Center patrons. The Mavs led by 17 points in the second quarter, only to see the Warriors get within 75-71 with 1:04 left in the third period. The Mavs' holiday break is very short.
