Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Esteghlal and 9th ranked Qazvin had identical 1-3 record. But Qazvin was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Qeshm 83-79 on Thursday night. Esteghlal (2-3) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Zanjan. Qazvin lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Gorgan and Sanaye. Esteghlal will meet at home league's second-placed Petrochimi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Qazvin will play against Azad (#4) in Tehran and hope to win that game.
