Regular Season Round 8: Aris - Kronos AD 52-57

Kronos AD has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Thessaloniki, where they defeated Aris (2-7) 57-52. American forward Katherine Harry (190, college: De Paul) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 23 rebounds. The former international guard Aikaterini Spatharou (172-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Guard Roula Mouli (178-85) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Monique Oliver (188-91, college: Rutgers) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Aris. Aris' coach Vassilis Maslarinos tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Kronos AD maintains tenth position with 1-7 record. It was Aris' sixth loss in a row. They dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Kronos AD's next round opponent will be higher ranked Anagenisi (#6) and it may be quite challenging game.
