No shocking result in a game in Tallinn where second ranked Swedish Norrkoping Dolphins (5-2) won against 6th ranked Estonian Tln Kalev (2-5) 77-62 on Monday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 37-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Norrkoping Dolphins made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded Tln Kalev 43-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and center Joakim Kjellbom (212-79, college: N.Arizona) who added 21 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Walker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Norrkoping Dolphins players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Reimo Tamm (188-84) responded with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Kaido Saks (207-86) scored 23 points. Norrkoping Dolphins have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group A with 5-2 record having five points less than leader Pyrinto. Tln Kalev lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with five games lost. Norrkoping Dolphins will face BC Rakvere (#5) on the road in the next round. Tln Kalev will play against BC Rakvere and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
