Very predictable result when second ranked Ironi Nahariya (7-2) defeated on the road 10th ranked Ironi Ashkelon (3-6) 88-75 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-75. Ironi Nahariya outrebounded Ironi Ashkelon 43-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Ironi Ashkelon's players. American center Kenny Lawson (206-88, college: Creighton) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Ofir Huber (198-90) chipped in 27 points and 7 rebounds.
