Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked TBB Trier (5-9) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked ALBA Berlin (7-4) 87-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. ALBA Berlin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Canadian-Irish power forward Levon Kendall (209-84, college: Pittsburgh) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and American point guard Clifford Hammonds (191-85, college: Clemson) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). ALBA Berlin's coach Sasa Obradovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (184-87, college: Wisconsin) responded with 13 points and 4 assists and international center Andreas Seiferth (209-89, agency: LUMANI 10.7) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four ALBA Berlin and five TBB Trier players scored in double figures. ALBA Berlin moved-up to seventh place. Loser TBB Trier dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. ALBA Berlin will face SC Rasta Vechta (#17) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TBB Trier will play against the league's leader Bayern Muenchen (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
