There was no surprise in Lugo where 10th ranked Lleida Basquet (4-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (9-3) 77-64. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. Lleida Basquet was better in fourth quarter 20-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St.) who scored that evening 17 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) supported him with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even 11 points and 5 assists by point guard Sergio Llorente (188-90) did not help to save the game for Lleida Basquet. Serbian guard Andreja Milutinovic (199-90) added 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leche Rio Breogan have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Lleida Basquet at the other side keeps the tenth place with eight games lost. Leche Rio Breogan's next round opponent will be Clinicas Rincon (#9) in Malaga and are hoping to win another game.
