Worth to mention about the upset in a game between BC Timisoara (6-7) and Gaz Metan (5-7), which took place in Medias. 8th ranked BC Timisoara was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Gaz Metan 89-69. Gaz Metan's next round opponent will be higher ranked Craiova (#5) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
