Regular Season Round 15: B.Muenchen - Ratiopharm 87-70

BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (14-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they beat sixth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (9-6) 87-70. The game was mostly controlled by Bayern Muenchen. ratiopharm Ulm managed to win fourth quarter 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely ratiopharm Ulm outrebounded Bayern Muenchen 34-0 including a 27- advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American center John Bryant (208-87, college: Santa Clara) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Dominican point guard Edgar Sosa (190-88, college: Louisville) answered with 17 points and American center Trent Plaisted (211-86, college: BYU, agency: Priority Sports) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. Bayern Muenchen have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Fraport SKY. Bayern Muenchen are looking forward to face EWE Baskets (#3) in Oldenburg in the next round, which may be the game of the day. ratiopharm Ulm will play at home against Phoenix Hagen (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
