Regular Season Round 65: Dallas M. - LA Clippers 112-119

Even without superstar point guard Chris Paul for the major portions of the second half, the Los Angeles Clippers were still able to defeat the Dallas Mavericks 119-112 Friday night at American Airlines Center. DeAndre Jordan had a career-high 25 points along with 18 rebounds, Blake Griffin added 25 points and 14 rebounds, and ex-Mavs guard Darren Collison scored a season-high 22 points to pace the Clippers, who padded their record to 23-12. In having their three-game winning streak snapped, the Mavs dropped to 19-14 and lost their third straight home game. The Clippers ended the game on a 16-2 run after the Mavs led 110-103. The game featured a right shoulder injury to Paul, who left the game for good with 6:43 left in the third period after colliding with Monta Ellis. Paul finished the game with 19 points and six assists. Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs with 24 points, Shawn Marion finished with 20 points, Ellis had 13 points and nine assists, Brandan Wright scored 12, and Jose Calderon added 11 points, six rebounds and five assists. Both teams came out firing as the Mavs led 70-67 at the half. It's the most points the Mavs have scored in any half this season.
