Semi-Finals Game 1: Boston Coll. - Osorno Basq. 94-104

Osorno Basquete snatched a road win over Boston College in the starting game of their semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Osorno Basq.. Boston College was better in second period 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Osorno Basq. shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Boston College was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Rashad Jones-Jennings (203-84, college: UALR) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Gonzalo Velasquez (185-81) chipped in 21 points. Osorno Basq.'s coach Manuel Cordoba allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Derrick Roland (193-88, college: Texas A&M) scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
