Regular Season Round 15: Roseto - Ferrara 77-69

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (11-4) on the court of eighth ranked Roseto on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Roseto 77-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Naturhouse Ferrara. Naturhouse Ferrara trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 69-77 at the end of the game. It was a good game for American guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Naturalized Argentinian point guard Nicolas Stanic (180-84, agency: Players Group) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. American point guard Julius Mays (188-89, college: Kentucky) answered with 23 points and the other American import forward Milton Jennings (206-90, college: Clemson, agency: Court Side) added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Naturhouse Ferrara. Roseto (8-7) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Casalpusterlengo and Treviglio. Naturhouse Ferrara at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Roseto is looking forward to face higher ranked Omegna (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Naturhouse Ferrara will play against Lucca and is hoping to win this game.
