The game between Top Four teams took place in Windsor. First ranked host Lancers (11-1) smashed 3rd placed Laurier (10-2)It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Lancers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-27 charity shots (92.6 percent) during the game, while Laurier only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Laurier 45-23 including a 34-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. French forward Jessica Clemencon (190-89) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) for the winning side and international point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (173-91) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Lee Anna Osei (157, college: Trinity Valley JC) came up with 9 points and 5 assists and guard Laura Doyle (170) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Laurier in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Lancers. They maintain first place with 11-1 record which they share with defeated Laurier. Laurier at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Regina and Western. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
