Top ranked Zepter Vienna (14-3) recorded its third loss on the court of fourth ranked Gmunden Swans on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Gmunden Swans 91-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Zepter Vienna. The game without a history. Gmunden Swans led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Tyler Griffey (206-90, college: Illinois, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who scored 32 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Enis Murati (194-88) chipped in 18 points. Four Gmunden Swans players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Florian Trmal (193-89) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian forward Drazen Zlovaric (206-90, college: Chattanooga) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Gmunden Swans maintains fourth position with 11-6 record. Defending champion Zepter Vienna still keeps top place with three games lost. Gmunden Swans are looking forward to face Furstenfeld Panthers (#8) on the road in the next round. Zepter Vienna will have a break next round.
